OH&S: Initial Hazard Identification

Essential Property Services provides clients with an 'Initial Hazard Identification Report.' Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 and Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996, including policies guidelines and Australian Standards require that either the building owner, occupier or employer meet specific obligations to ensure a safe work environment (the building and surrounds) exists for employees and visitors alike. An initial hazard identification report assists in providing a safe work environment.

EPS reports cover the following hazards:

  • Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 Building structure
  • Egress:stairs:access
  • Emergency lights
  • Exit signs
  • Fences
  • Fire services
  • Hazardous goods
  • Rubbish
  • Slipping
  • Storage
  • Tripping
  • Vehicular movement

The Initial Hazard Identification Report can be provided as a separate service to our Essential Safety Measures Inspection Reports.
